Uttar Pradesh । Pradesh Congress Committee on Friday launched a scathing attack on the state government, stating that in the Ram Rajya of Yogi, the rule of law is over. Criminals are on the prowl and the people are scared.
The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee president Ajay Kumar Lallu has said that crime and criminals are ruling the roost throughout the state today. The rule of law is over. In the state, where the cases of rape of minor girls are not stopping, Yogi Adityanath is making a false claim that everything is fine. He said that in Kaushambi, a minor is killed after being raped. Earlier such incidents have happened in Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Lakhimpur, Sitapur and other districts, but the government did not learn a lesson and did not even take effective action against the culprits.
Mr Ajay Kumar Lallu further said that till this morning, a minor was raped and killed in Kaushambi, a youth was shot dead in Bijnor, a farmer was killed with a sharp weapon in front of his son in Rae Bareli, kidnapped siblings found dead in Hardoi three days later, former Pradhan shot dead in Farurkhabad, woman’s hand chopped off in Jhansi, miscreants looted gold worth of several lakhs in Mathura and brutal beating of young man in police custody in Shravasti district and thrashing of youth by police in Ballia, man murdered in Deoria, murder of an eight-year-old girl after rape in Mathura — it has now become clear that the rule of law is no longer in the state.
Mr Ajay Kumar Lallu further said that Dalits and Backwards are being oppressed in Mahoba, Agra, Rae Bareli, Hardoi, Gorakhpur in the state, but the government does not seem serious about the safety of this section of the society. Mr Ajay Kumar Lallu said that the morale of criminals has gone up as they have the patronage of power and the BJP. The Yogi Government is trying to terrorize the public by slapping fake cases on political activists who talk about the common people. He said that Chief Minister Yogi, who changed his own name, has made crime a development in the House.
